Envoy Fiber

Residential

Connect the passed location to the household.

Envoy can support household education, authorized acquisition and provider handoff. Envoy is not the underlying ISP unless explicitly identified as the provider for a particular offer. MyFiber is the intended customer-facing broadband platform; confirmed destinations are not yet supplied here, so contact Envoy for the appropriate customer journey.

Where this capability fits.

  • Who it is for

Residential broadband providers and distribution teams serving households in an approved footprint.

  • The problem

A household can express interest before a provider can accept an order. Treating interest, order submission and active service as the same state creates misleading expectations.

  • The decision

Plan household acquisition without confusing network presence with service eligibility.

How the workflow operates.

  1. Passed location → serviceability

Match the service address and confirm provider eligibility. A public coverage report is an input, not a serviceability decision.

  2. Household engagement → request/order

Explain the provider relationship, obtain appropriate permission and hand the request to an authorized order experience.

  3. Installation → activation

Separate customer appointment preferences from confirmed scheduling. Require provider confirmation before calling a household activated.

Evidence before claims.

Use the applicable provider’s address qualification, offer authorization, customer consent and order/installation records. Do not publish customer PII or household-level operational records.

What gets measured.

Track eligible addresses, interested households, accepted orders, confirmed installations and provider-confirmed activations separately. Retention needs a defined observation period and provider records.

Define the next handoff.

Start with the requirement and evidence available. Do not send confidential customer records in an initial inquiry.
